Aster Lit: Wanderlust
Issue 6—Summer 2022
Cursed
Ogwuche Bella, Nigeria
This soul stands
Six feet above a broken land
To admire the wandering bones and
Ignorant souls like me
Begging for it's body
I don't wish to call this place
A furnace
Because not every body here burns
I only wish to foment a poem
Beside this soul
As I watch mother ignite prayers on her tongue.
