an inventory of things / people blooming means to me
Evan Violets, Singapore

gradations of our imploded solace with our callous-spangled fingers
and piecing them into unfamiliar kinds of brilliance.

iii. the dusk-shrouded days we’ve trudged past, to be able
to warp our dismal silhouette(s) into tangible lustre.
iv. the way the static skyline transits into sunset aftermath,
the way its cerulean softness
blossomed into raw-apricot scenery.
v. and you grandma, the way you grew out of your
episodic-grieving, into a figure of incandescence,
inspiring those around you.
