Lingering Shadows
Jassifat Kaur Khurana
Taken on the night of Diwali, the festival of lights, my photograph delves into the theme of “Lacuna.” As I noticed a burnt out diya, it instantly sparked an epiphany. It prompted me to craft a story, where each flicker represents moments in our lives as a series of human experiences. Every diya becomes a chapter, but the burnt-out one introduces the unavoidable losses, casting shadows on the rich tapestry of our shared existence.
